Hikmat dan pengertian

1. Hidup dalam Kerajaan Allah diekpresikan oleh ketaatan terhadap Raja dan KonstitusiNya. Siapa yang mengatur hidupmu akan menentukan bagaimana Anda menjalani hidupmu. (Mat 6 : 33)
2. Memiliki kehidupan yang terencana dengan baik dan komunitas yang bisa dipercaya, terbuka (accountable) akan membantu kita untuk memenangkan peperangan. (Ams 24 : 6)
3. Milikilah cara hidup dengan sebuah kualitas hati yang dapat menarik perhatian dan melunakkan hati Tuhan, itulah arti sebuah keintiman (Zak 8 : 21-22)
4. Ada Tuhan dibalik ketaatan. Dimana ada pertobatan disitu ada pencurahan.
5. Dalam I Kor 9 : 25 – 26, 2 arti hidup : Hidup adalah sebuah pertandingan, karena itu kita tidak boleh menyerah sebelum meraih kemenangan, dan hidup adalah sebuah perjalanan menuju suatu tujuan, karena itu kita tidak boleh berhenti sebelum mencapai garis akhir.

7. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. In this all-out match against sin, others have suffered far worse than you, to say nothing of what Jesus went through—all that bloodshed! So don’t feel sorry for yourselves. This trouble you’re in isn’t punishment; It’s training, the normal experience of children.. for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God (Heb 12:1,4,7,11-MSG)
8. Get as rich as you want through cheating and extortion, but eventually some friend of the poor is going to give it all back to them. God has no use for the prayers of the people who won’t listen to Him. A miser (kikir) in a hurry to get rich doesn’t know that he’ll end up broke (Prov 28:8-9,22-MSG)
9. If you get ride of unfair practices, quit blaming victims, quit gossiping about other people’s sins. If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go. I will give you a full life in the emptiest of places. You’ll be like a well-watered garden.. that never runs day (Isaiah 58” 9-11-MSG)
10. Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge (menurutkan) your ego at expense of your soul. Life an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute (membuktikan salah) their prejudices. Then they’ll be won over to God’s side and be there to join in the celebration when He arrives (I ptr 2 : 11-12-MSG)
11. Kepuasan dalam hidup terjadi bukan karena telah tercapainya semua hal yang diinginkan tetapi karena kesadaran akan berapa banyak hal yang sudah didapatkan (Ibr 12 : 28)
12. Ukuran tubuh yang kita miliki tidaklah terlalu penting, ukuran otak yang kita punya memang penting, tetapi ukuran hati yang kita miliki sangatlah penting Fil 2 : 5
13. Train me in good common sense; I’m thoroughly committed to living Your way. You are good and the source of good. Train me in your goodness. My troubles turned out all for the best—they forced me to learn from Your textbook. With Your very own hands You formed me; now breathe Your wisdom over me so i can see now, God, that Your decisions are right; Your testing has taught me what’s true and right (Mzm 119 : 65, 68, 71, 73, 75-MSG)
14. I’m saying is, grow up, you are kingdom subjects, life generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you. (Mat 5 : 44, 48- MSG)
15. My son, (reverently0 fear the lord and the King (respect your leaders), and do not associate (make a connection, spend time, work or do business) with those are given to change (of allegiance-kesetiaan and are revolutionary) for their calamity (great disaster) shall rise suddenly , and who knows the punishment and run (destruction)which both (the Lord and the king) will bring upon (the rebellious)? Prov 24 : 21-22 – Amp
16. Do not be content with Moses (pulled out), he never made it to the promise land! May you have heart of Joshua’s, who stayed at the tent meeting when Moses returned to the camp (Exod 33 :11-AMP), for wasn’t satisfied with serving Moses, he wanted Jehovah Himself yet, may you also have Joshua’s spirit of submission who let his master, Moses, taught him to fight with Amalek (17: 9-13) ; As a response God prepared him to replace Moses (17 : 14); then Moses built altar and called the name of it, ”The Lord is my Banner (=Joshua) (17:15). Therefore this is my prayer for you: That you make it to the land flowing with milk and honey; that “Not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God promised concerning you (Joshua 23: 14)
17. The word of God is an unlimited source for the meaningful life in Christ. The deeper you dig into it, the more open doors you shall find to hidden treasure
18. “I will surely gather all of you O Jacob.. the breaker (the Messiah) will go up before them . They will breakthrough (burst all confinements=meledakkan kurungan-kurungan), pass in through the gate and go through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.” (micah 2:13)
19. I find my self praying for you with a glad heart, so this is my prayer: That your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush (sudden outburst) . Live a lover’s life, circumspect (very careful esp. to avoid danger) and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful (giving generously) in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all , getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God (Phlp 1: 4, 9 – 11-MSG)

21. Sebagian dari hidup tergantung dari apa yang kita buat, dan bagian lainnya tergantung pada teman-teman yang kita pilih
22. Orang bijak memutuskan untuk dirinya sendiri setelah mempertimbangkan pendapat orang lain. Orang biasa memutuskan untuk dirinya sendiri hanya dengan mengikuti pendapat orang lain.
23. Tetaplah konsisten pada keputusanmu, tetapi tetaplah flexible pada cara pencapaiannya.
24. Jangan menunggu! Waktu yang benar-benar tepat tidak akan pernah tiba, mulailah bergerak sekarang dan bekerjalah dengan apa yang ada. Hal-hal lain yang lebih baik akan ditemukan saat mulai.
